Sweet Potato Casserole for your Thanksgiving Egg Bowl

As the whirlwind of football season races by, it’s that time again – Egg Bowl week. The anticipation for the coveted trophy’s return to Oxford fills the air. Among the cherished traditions during this intense rivalry, one staple shines – the timeless Thanksgiving classic, Sweet Potato Casserole. While debates often revolve around marshmallows versus pecans, I firmly believe in embracing both for an extra dose of indulgence.

Gathering around the Thanksgiving table holds profound gratitude, not just for family, but notably for our Rebel Family. Ole Miss has woven bonds that transcend friendship, making them akin to family. Gratefulness extends to dear friends like Evie, who graciously supports my culinary endeavors, and to the tight-knit group known simply as DBC (for those in the know!). Sending love to all during the holidays and beyond. And, of course, the rallying cry remains: GTHMSU! LET’S GET THE EGG BACK HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!
